UКИМ is awarding over 290 full scholarships to newly enrolled students for the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as 720 partial scholarships.

Skopje, August 2024 – The University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, with the aim of advancing the education of young people in the country and opening up new opportunities for them, has provided over 290 scholarships for all Faculties for new first-cycle students, as well as 720 partial scholarships for students from any study programme and any year of study, who are raised by a single parent.

Ukim will award 240 scholarships, allocating 10 to each faculty. In this way, we aim to motivate prospective students to devote themselves to their studies and to ease the financial burden of education on their families., the University noted.

Namely, this year, as in the previous four academic years, the units of UKIM are sponsoring at least one student from each study programme and each year of study whose parental rights are held by a single parent. In this way, UCM enables at least 720 students to pay half the amount of the tuition fee for first-cycle studies each year.

Additionally, over 40 regular students enrolling in first-cycle studies this academic year will have the opportunity to receive scholarships from the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation in the USA, as well as over 10 scholarships from the Konstantin Stoyanov Foundation.„, UKIM stated.

Enrolment for the 2024/2025 academic year for the first intake is on 29 August 2024 and 30 August 2024. on 17.9.2024 and 18.9.2024 in the second admissions round and on 27.9.2024 in the third admissions round.

This year, a total of 9,921 students will have the opportunity to enrol, of whom 4,761 are full-time state-funded students, 4,210 are full-time co-funded students, and 950 are part-time students. In addition to domestic students, the University also offers more than 1,000 places for foreign nationals across over 180 study programmes.
