The project "Green Chromatography Part 2 – New Approaches and Solutions" has been successfully completed.„

The final event for the project 'Green Chromatography Part 2 – New Approaches and Solutions' was successfully held, presenting the conclusions from the analyses and activities carried out, which is a continuation of last year's project "Green Chromatographic Methods in Pharmaceutical Quality Control" and of the successful collaboration between Alkaloid and the Career Centre at UGJK. This project provided continuity in educating students on the application of green analytical chemistry, with the aim of developing a younger generation of professionals with greater competence, who will lead the industry towards a more sustainable future through innovation in the pharmaceutical sector.
The project was carried out in three phases and involved 11 students under the mentorship of four professors from the Faculty of Pharmacy and three staff members from the Global Development and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing departments.

The development of the methods took place in the training laboratory of the Alkaloid Centre for Education and Training.
The concept of green analytical chemistry involves the design of experiments and processes to reduce or eliminate harmful products, reagents, solvents and other substances, as well as to reduce energy consumption, through the application of environmentally friendly solutions and new analytical approaches.
