Call for paid scientific internships at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission

The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC) offers paid scientific internships for scientific trainees. For the internships starting in March 2026, The JRC offers placements for around fifty (50) scientific trainees in various thematic areas such as health, industry and space, natural resources, mobility, civil security for society, the environment and climate change, nuclear safety and security, crisis management, digital transformation and data, cyber security, artificial intelligence, etc.

The internship placement may be at one of the following JRC sites: Geel (Belgium), Ispra (Italy), Karlsruhe (Germany), Petten (the Netherlands) or Seville (Spain).
