On 26 September 2024, a doctoral defence was held in the fields of medical sciences and healthcare, social sciences, and humanities.

In a solemn and traditional manner, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, conferred the degrees of 19 doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Law 'Justinian I', Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje.

The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the Rectorate, starting at 12:00 noon.

The following candidates were awarded doctorates in the relevant scientific research fields:

Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Endocrinology

2. Arzana Hasani Yousufi
Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the Field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology

3. Maya Yazheva Davcheva
Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the Field of Internal Medicine

4. Nenad Mitreski
Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Radiotherapy and Oncology

5. William Velkovski
Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Orthopaedics

6. Anche Volkanovska Nikolovska
Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the Field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
